So, we’ve decided on a honeymoon destination - and have already booked the hotel and bought plane tickets! We’ll be spending 4 days in Athens!

We’re staying at a lovely hotel which has a roof garden/taverna with a breathtaking view of the Parthenon.

We’re also taking a day trip to one of the Islands, but we don’t know which one as yet…any advice?

It would be nice if we could stay longer and see more - but with the kidlets, I’m afraid we must get back before the weekend so we can get the kids back and spend a weekend with them before it’s back to the daily grind.

Anyway, anyone who has any advice, please step forward, we’d love to hear from you!

Has an hour become 90 minutes when I wasn’t looking? WTF is WITH people who say “I’ll be there in an hour” and have yet to turn up 90 minutes later?

I am SO SO SO fucking sick of late people, irresponsible people, annoying people and stupid people that I think I just puked in my mouth a little.

Good God Whew. This is THEE LONGEST DAY I can remember. I don’t know if it’s the full moon afoot or what - but frick.

The kids have been SUPER all day, I’ve gotten a TON done, from making incense to cleaning to 2 loads of laundry (INCLUDING ironing, and we don’t have a fast tumble dryer! Thank you!), to scheduling the next 2 months’ classes to changing a buttload (see what I did there) of nappies.

There has been breakfast, snack, lunch, snack for the boys and several bottles and breakfast and lunch for the baby. Dinner is prepared and ready to be cooked and I this day is still dragging ass and I am BORED off my HAT!

I have to clean the office but I can’t be in there for a long time because of the kids being alone downstairs and possibly eating the baby or god knows what….anyway.

Oh yeah: My Aunt’s coming to visit Friday for the weekend. She’s in London on business and will be here with us afterwards. Yay! I adore my Auntie and I can’t wait to see her!

Woo, it’s been a busy 2 months!

Rhiannon is now 7 months old (!! When did THAT happen?!), and the boys will be 2 in just over a month!

The Coven is in full swing, first Initiation is being planned and sorted out at the moment.

Jim’s just landed a Finance job with the County Council which means he’s basically all set. Woo!

I’m in my 4th week of my pottery class and SHOULD have a piece to photograph and show you soon!

For now though:

So, yesterday, we got the resat of the wallpaper off the (fucking) kitchen walls, woo!  I am SO SO SO glad to have that done. God. I HATED it in there!

This morning I’ve filled all the holes, cracks, whatever in there and then scraped and sanded then washed (with sugar soap) the 2 smallest walls in the corner, so I can pain those today, because they don’t need priming first AND I need to put my countertop back in there so I can function in that kitchen over the week!

Tomorrow, I shall scrape and sand then wash one to two walls. When that’s done I will prime them then the next day, the painting will begin!

Sigh.

OK, Kids awake from naps, must jet!

Missed a post yesterday.

Yesterday was completely uneventful and nigh on boring.

Oh and, I went to the dentist. Woo. (This is why a post every day is not the best best thing for me to do!)

Oh but: My new mineral makeup arrived from Lily Lolo! I bought a few samples to see what shade I need and whether I like it and I do! It’s Lovely!  It doesn’t feel like you have anything on your face but it looks great!

Little Miss Rhiannon has been going through a growth spurt lately and it is wearing me OUT. I am so tired and headachey and just blah. I just want to eat chocolate all the time.

I sorted through a LOAD of papers in here today and now have a bag full of useless stuff to throw out. WHY does every company under the sun have to generate so much goddamned paper?!

I mean, I pay most my bills online so WTF do I need a statement, all sorts of bullshit leaflets and a fucking envelope for?!

Stop bombarding me with crap people, or I am going to start mailing you loads of stupid shit in your own damned postage paid envelopes! Frick!

In vain and rather pointless news: I sure hope I lose like another 20 lbs before our wedding in October or I’m afraid I’ll look like the Sta-Puf Marshmallow Man. <g>

Finally, my template is somehow fucked up so on the actual post page, the background stops short. Dammit. I SO need to redo this whole fucking thing.

OK I waxed my eyebrows today. I haven’t done THAT in a long time and can I just say FECKING OW, Man!  However, I am feeling much more awake now, with pristine, lovely eyebrows - I must say.

There’s some kind of bug eating my Rosemary bush. <grrr> I was out there the day before yesterday and it was perfectly fine then yesterday I looked at it and there are all these little bites out of the leaves and it looks all assy. I need to do some research and find out what that is and how to get rid of it.

In other news, I’ve just ordered a TON of different herb seeds for our garden and I am SO excited to plant them! However, we need to rip out all these crappy (useless ground filler) hedges first and turn the earth which sucks. I hate doing stuff like that.

Lidl has a garden sale starting Tuesday with loads of cool stuff, including portable greenhouses and  pretty cast iron brackets for hanging plant baskets. I want a few to bolt into the fence posts around our garden and I’d like some pretty flowers in them. Any suggestions? I like fuschias, but some other recommendations would be nice, too!

I had some GORGEOUS fuschias in baskets when I lived in the U.S. but then I went out of town for a week or so and came back and they’d all died. I’d forgotten to get someone to water them. Bummer.

Jim just gave the baby a bath and is dressing her now so I’ll have to grab her in a moment. The boys are taking a nap after having stuffed themselves with pancakes and bananas at breakfast.

Looks like it’s clearing up, so I suppose we’ll go out for a walk later on…..

Hey Hey! It’s my Birthday Month! So far I’ve got 2 days of Birthday planned - out to dinner and drinks with friends one night and off to see Wicked another night!

I’ve repaired my baby pouch sling. It’s a measurement around the body (like, from left shoulder to right hip, or the opposite) and I’ve lost a lot of weight so it was hanging too low! I’ve got a cute photo to share later - it’s not great as it’s off my Mobile, but cute!

For Mother’s Day (different date here in England to the U.S.) I got some Benefit BeneTint which I love! I think there’s also something else in the works as Jim’s acting all funny

I have the kitchen walls a lot of the way done, one wall to go - then I can prime and paint! I am SO excited to have it looking nice in there!

However, one of the kitchen light fixtures gave up the ghost, so I have to get a new one of those. <pout.>
